The Gnomie Cafe channel began after ten months of me fighting off a determined iguana who ate through my balcony garden in 2022. I frequently chase iguanas off my balcony’s with a swiffer. These stories began with updates on my FB pages, to family, and friends. Many of whom asked why I didn’t record the lizards and other wildlife in my area for social media.
So I did. There are videos of the iguana, a local coyote or two (I cannot tell them apart), and the birds who love the peanuts I leave out. That started as a way to attract predator birds, crows, to keep the iguanas off the balcony while I work and cannot run to defend my plants during the work day.
